Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and cultivate new leads within the B2B sector while enhancing sales and providing ongoing support to current customers.
  • Implement and oversee sales strategies across various channels, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with distribution networks, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) partners, and affiliates to foster collaboration and enhance project execution.
  • Work closely with the marketing team on lead generation, client acquisition, and participation in industry events such as exhibitions, conferences, and forums.
  • Oversee the entire business development cycle, which includes:
    • Identifying and engaging potential clients.
    • Conducting due diligence and evaluating client needs.
    • Managing client relationships strategically.
    • Performing detailed site assessments and feasibility studies.
    • Determining project scale and pricing structures.
    • Creating persuasive proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
    • Personally visiting active installation sites to ensure high-quality execution, seamless handovers, and strong client relations.
    • Closing deals with prospective clients.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with key stakeholders, including private sector entities, government agencies, and academic institutions, to explore C&I project opportunities in the region.
  • Represent Chloride Exide Ltd at industry events, forging valuable partnerships and expanding business networks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all sales activities, transactions, and client interactions.
  • Keep accurate records of sales performance, including outreach efforts, presentations, closed deals, contracts, and follow-ups.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management regarding product offerings, market trends, and potential business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and company engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in B2B sales within the renewable energy sector, particularly in selling technical solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of solar energy and other renewable technologies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a global business environment.
  • Proven ability to build professional networks and strategic partnerships within the renewable energy sector.
  • Experience in project management, overseeing the entire sales cycle.
  • Strong negotiation skills, ethical conduct, and integrity in sales operations.
  • International work or study experience is an advantage.
  • Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
