Functional areas/Roles:
Onboarding
- Learn the whole onboarding process from the hiring approval up to 90 days after the start date of the new employee.
- Assist to get the HR onboarding checklist done in order to ensure that all the HR activities have been initiated and completed on schedule.
Employee Relations
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and implement human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and time-off; discipline; grievances and investigations; and performance management.
- Respond to employee inquiries on HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR issues.
Learning and Development
- Track, record, and document mandatory and non-mandatory training and professional development compliance. This includes, but is not limited to, anti-harassment and business ethics training, certifications, and tuition reimbursement.
Employee Engagement, Recognition, and Programs
- Assists planning of company events.
- Tracks year of service milestone awards.
Offboarding
- Assists processing of terminations.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Must be a current U.S. Military Service Member on active duty and qualify to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program
- Skilled with the Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn Citizant’s employee management applications
- To represent the firm with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Should demonstrate attention to details
