As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance and corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities:
- Take charge of maintaining and repairing the facility’s mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems, ensuring everything stays up to standard as assigned.
- Review your assigned work orders, estimate the time and materials required to complete repairs, and keep an inventory of the necessary supplies and tools.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to help building machinery and systems reach or exceed their expected lifespan; manage repairs and handle emergency maintenance as needed.
- Conduct reviews of inspections on building and industrial systems — including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing — to ensure all equipment operates within its designed capabilities and meets the environmental standards set by the client.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to keep them running efficiently.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, government agencies, and company policies related to building operations and workplace safety.
- Operate company-issued vehicles as part of your daily responsibilities.
- Use your deep knowledge of standard principles, techniques, and procedures to tackle complex tasks and deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor and coach others by sharing your in-depth knowledge of your own discipline, while also contributing broad insights across several related areas within the team.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors that align with CBRE’s RISE values, and work to build consensus by helping others reach agreements.
- Make an impact across a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your own team and in collaboration with related teams.

Qualifications and Skills:
- A high school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma is required, along with 4–5 years of relevant job experience. If you don’t have a diploma, we’ll consider a combination of your experience and education.
- A Universal CFC certification and a valid driver’s license are also required. Previous experience as a shift manager or in a supervisory role is preferred.
- You’ll need to meet the physical demands of the role, which include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and being able to lift or carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- You should have the ability to make sound judgments by analyzing information from multiple sources.
- We value fresh thinking, so a willingness to look at existing solutions from a new perspective is important.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products — such as Word, Excel, and Outlook — is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills and a naturally inquisitive mindset are a big plus.
