Self-employed Content Writer (native Japanese) – Europe/Asia

Podium North’s Japanese Content Team is growing and looking for a new SEO Content Writer. Your main responsibility would be writing crypto or sports related articles in Japanese language.

We are accepting contributions preferably from Europe or Asia. It does not really matter where you would be working from as long as you can legally work as a service provider or freelancer and invoice us. We can agree on full-time job with various work tasks (see below) or part-time contribution and pay per article.

Podium North is also open to offer a full-time job in Estonia and support you in a work permit and relocation process. Please check another open position for this.

What to expect if you join our team

As a full-time or part-time freelancing Content Writer you will join remotely a team of 8 people located mostly in Europe. We offer you a great culture of freedom & flexibility, and respectful & close team relationships that our people value most. Our team members are all top specialist with a great sense of autonomy. Once a year, you’ll get an invitation to join us for a couple of days at our office and summer event in Estonia. You are welcome to come and visit our office in Tallinn also at other times and stay for longer if interested.

The tasks and responsibilities:

• Writing crypto and/or sports related articles in Japanese
• Publishing & editing content on WordPress
• Keeping yourself informed about related trends and news
• Making sure that our reviews and articles are up to date
• Participating in weekly team meetings
• Proofreading and helping your team members if needed

As a part-time role it’s possible to write articles only and get paid by article only, excluding all other tasks.

To succeed in this position, you need:

• To be native Japanese speaker with excellent writing skills
• Experience with writing crypto/sports related articles (or 2+ years of English-Japanese translation experience)
• Ability to read, understand and conduct research in English
• Good understanding and experience about cryptocurrencies and/or sports
• To be legally allowed to work as a freelancer at your chosen location

It will be useful if you have also:

• Good knowledge of SEO
• Communication skills to participate in meetings in English
• In-depth experience with WordPress
